But tell us a little bit about that book and what happened when you discovered it.

Well it was quite a surprise to find a baking book at my mum and dad's because like I've said baking wasn't a huge part of my life until very very late on and it was definitely a book that was gathering dust.

It wasn't in my life plan at all where I found myself unemployed at 28.

I've always been very very headstrong from a young age, knew that I wanted to be an architect from 12 so I always had a plan and so when I found myself in this period of unemployment which is At the start, it was very much by choice.

I wanted to move back closer to home.

I wanted to move back to London.

I was living in Liverpool, had a fantastic job, but was craving being closer to family.

Please tell us about this bake-off moment.

Yeah, I'm curious what the inspiration was because it sounds really difficult to write, honestly.

Yeah.

Yeah, I didn't make my life easy for myself when I started the second book.

And in all honesty, the series started online, I can't believe I'm going to say this, three years ago.

Wow.

Which is mind-boggling because people have followed the journey from the very start and have now had kids who are three years old.

And that honestly makes me...

I very n- nearly went out on the first episode, and I should have gone out.

I didn't finish my, um, showstopper piece.

It looked dreadful.

Um, but I made it through.
