I need to do that before winter arrives.
3:10
So I would hope that you got a good inspection.
3:13
And so you're well aware of the things that have to be changed.
3:16
And maybe you even use that as a negotiating tool saying, listen, the windows need to be changed.
3:21
The current homeowner hasn't done it.
3:22
We're going to have to do it before winter comes in.
3:24
Otherwise our heating costs are going to be high.

7 MINS LATER

We kind of love this stuff, but that's just not reality for people.

exactly so i mean i just don't understand why i have to tip 18 for somebody who just they i don't even know i don't even think your feet moved right so
3:40
yeah and this is the issue is that we are getting what's called tipping fatigue so in situations where tipping is warranted so i'm thinking a restaurant or when you go and you spend some time at say a bar and have some snacks with friends or somebody does a service in your home or you go get your hair done these are things where we're used to tipping people to show that hey we really appreciated how good of a job you did or i really you know appreciate how you've been you know such a great person to work with whatever it is that you want to say but now we're being asked to tip uh you know i i can say the company out loud starbucks just recently started asking for tips never asked before um why are they doing this why are they now including tipping as part of their service or part of their uh you know when you when you check out it's giving people tipping fatigue and it's really affecting when you now actually go out to eat and have a great meal and have great service at the table you don't want to tip as much anymore because you've just been tipping everybody all the time and then this feels like just another place where you're asked to get your wallet out and spend money on something that It's supposed to be up to your discretion.
4:49
Tipping is not something that's guaranteed.
4:52
If you want, you can leave no tip.
4:54
That's some of the advice that I got from a person who trains servers for things like Michelin star restaurants.
5:01
She told me that when she trains these servers, she tells them the tip is not guaranteed.
5:06
So don't rely on that.
5:36
But, you know, research, I'm guessing, is showing that this is becoming increasingly common.
