So can you talk a little bit about the impact the AI boom is having on Taiwan's economy?

But that's a kind of frequently asked questions in the last 24 months.

Let me start with these numbers.

For the first quarter of this year, 2026, Taiwan's GDP growth before adjustment is 12.9%.

So the whole year prediction by my institute CIER is around 10%.

Last year is 8.74. We haven't seen this kind of speed of growth for many, many years.

Before, during the COVID especially, we were able to maintain somewhere between 2 to 4%.
