So Roy Skinny and Bede, what were our impressions?

Yeah, I think just skinny Embiid was kind of the key to that whole defense kind of turning up after halftime.

He moved around a lot better than I expected.

And I know he looked pretty spry in the Boston game, looked pretty decent in the Brooklyn game.

But again, you know, like when it's regular season, it's a little bit different against the defending champions.

But...

He looked really good, especially in that second half, as you mentioned.

Like, it's a lot of free will that goes into what his game is going to be tailored to this season.

But Roy, Hell in a Cell, Oba Femi versus Brock Lesnar, who you got?

So again, this should really, as you mentioned, be Brock's last match.

This should be the official passing of the torch from Lesnar to, to Oba Femi as, like, the, like, the ultimate big bad, like, the final boss kind of, you know, super, super big, super bad badass dude.

So, uh, and I'm glad we got a Hell in a Cell out of this, right? Like, so it's not gonna be like, you know, like a seven-minute, like, you know, like s- I don't wanna say squash match, but like, like, a s- little brief seven-minute match.

Like, it's gonna be nasty.

They'll both get their stuff off, you know? We'll see a bunch of FIs, we'll see a, you know, a bunch of stuff from O- Oba.

But I think, I think Brock's gonna spend a, you know, a pretty decent amount of time in this match get- getting, uh, Oba over.

Roy, what do you think is gonna happen?

Mm.

Like, that's the definition of three-and-D, right? Like a guy who can actu- actually hit threes, like you said, at a 40% clip, and actually play pretty, you know, above average, you know, very good defense.

And so that's the kinda guy you want, but again, at his age, he probably isn't quite that level on the three side.

But again, he should be able to at least be, I think, you know, league average.

I would imagine that three, you know, shooting thir- shooting the three, you know, with these other guys.

Yeah, I, I think, you know, I think a lot of it is just kind of s- kind of situational and, and fit, right? Again, you play with LeBron, you p- you play with Jokic, you play with good passers and, and other guys who can kind of, you know, take, take some, um, attention away from the defense, like, he should be able to sh- to, to shoot.

So if nothing else, like even if he's not a good shooter, he's gonna give you that good defense off the bench, right? Like, if he gives you nothing else.

Was this the right call to have CM Punk beat Sami Zayn on Raw like this? Was this the right call by WWE? Also, did you enjoy this? Also, I should say that

Yeah, first of all, they had a fantastic match.

They had a humper.

They had a really good match on Monday night.

I'm a little bit conflicted about this, right? Because again, it was a great match.

Two great guys gave you 20, 30, whatever minutes in the ring.

So I'm just never a fan of that type of stuff, but.

Mm-hmm.

So, like Joel Embiid's gonna be like, like he's not gonna give you that.

And well, he's not gonna give you that 'cause he's not gonna get enough touches.

But it's like, is Joel Embiid gonna be okay being the, you know, the 28 and 8 roll out of bed guy to the, you know, you know, 18 and 8 roll out of bed guy, right? Like, just a guy who kinda like gets his stuff on the margins.

Because again, like you have two guys who are in the top, what, six, top seven in scoring, or top five, excuse me, in scoring last year in Maxie and, and, and Jaylen Brown.

You have V.J. Edgecombe, who, you know, in any other year would've been Rookie of the Year, right? You got a, you know, couple guys like, you know, if you got Philon, you got Simons, you got, you got guys who need shots, like, on, on this team.

Not a lot of, not a lot of basketballs to go around for, for Joel Embiid.

Mm-hmm.

Do you take anything away from that Maxey performance, Roy?

Yeah, Tyrese Maxey absolutely has to be more aggressive.

He had one shot in the first quarter.

He had, like you said, nine shots in the game.

I think that tied his record low or his low for the season in the game with nine shots.

You have to be more aggressive, A, because the Sixers' offense kind of depends on you, but B, You got to make Brunson work on the other end of the court, right? Like, Brunson's kind of a guy who, you know, C.J.

McCollum was just hunting, you know, in that last series against Atlanta.
