Why did Ferrari bring out an all-electric car?
37:11
Well, that's the question that many of its enthusiasts are trying to figure out, but it's the direction that the entire industry is heading in.
37:19
Everything is going electric.
37:21
Um, the vast majority of car makers are heading towards a situation where, uh, in Europe and in the UK in particular, uh, there's gonna be a ban on new petrol-powered cars by around twenty thirty-five, meaning that everybody has to create electrified vehicles, and Ferrari is no different.
37:42
Uh, are you surprised that somebody paid forty million dollars for it?
37:45
Massively surprised.
37:46
It's not worth forty million, but, I mean, it is if you're [chuckles] if you have that money and you're willing to bid it in an auction.
37:52
The actual price of the car is, uh, six hundred and forty thousand dollars if you're actually gonna buy it with your own money outside of an auction.
3:23
Mm-hmm.
3:23
And CNET's this big American corporation, and they, um, enter the UK market doing consumer tech reviews.
3:30
And I was start, I started out doing like tech reviews at, at CNET, and then one day I was like, "Can I do cars?" Um, and they said, "No." And I went, "Come on.
3:39
It, it, just, just one day a week, two days a week?" And they went, "Uh, go on then.
3:42
If you can make it work, go ahead." So I tried to call up a bunch of car manufacturers saying, "Can you send me a car for review?" Um, and all of them said no.

So of all the adventures that you've created, what do you think is your standout one?
39:48
Ooh, we went to South Africa, uh, to test, um...
39:54
