So, so any artists that are looking at selling their work or entering, what are the main piece of advice you'd give to them in terms of the law and how to protect themselves?
13:25
Well, I would say, you know, as I said earlier, make sure you have everything in writing.
13:30
And as you'll know yourself, you know, uh, not necessarily formal written contracts for smaller transactions.
13:37
I mean, just have it all set out clearly in a, in a chain of, of, of emails.
13:42
Uh, make sure both of you know what you're, you're buying, what you're selling.
13:47
Um, in terms of copyright, um, you know, do your own research about what rights you have there, and it is all automatic, but I mean, you also have to, um, to be able to sh- to prove it and, and prove a, a link.
14:01
Um, I would say that there's the Irish Visual Rights Organization, which is a great organization, um, that has lots of pages, uh, going into what your rights are, and draft, uh, sort of, um, template a- agreements you can sort of work up for yourself.
