... for the assessment scores?

Uh, state assessment scoring is, is broken into four categories, uh, one, two, three, and four.

Our, really our goal is to have everyone in levels three and four.

Um, like you said, uh, we, we did see a slight dip.

But now, the, and I think, and I won't probably say this as well as, uh, Shana did last night at the board meeting, but, uh, we did add a new curriculum, um, and just last year.

And then of course, anytime you add a new curriculum in ELA, there's always a little bit of a, a, a kind of a, a, I guess a dip in terms of how you, uh, get back and get back up to speed.

So, uh, but it, like you said, very small, very minor.

Uh, also wanted to touch on enrollment because you finally got some, uh, 20th day, uh, enrollment numbers back, and there is a, there is a dip, especially in the incoming kindergarten class.

So how has AI been impacting your work?

It's been quite impactful because I'd always- Had this notion of what science was supposed to be because of the work that I did at DOJ in particular.

As a grant manager and running a program that focuses on a particular topic, one of the things that your main roles are are evaluating proposals and leading the way from that.

So these positions are really more valuable than I think a lot of people realize.

Everybody thinks that we're just grant managers, but we gotta lead the discipline, because it's where the money is.

I mean, people go for your money, so whatever you come up with, they kind of follow.

And so I have a minor in philosophy of science from my undergraduate degree, and I always had this perspective about science, and I, I really had this acute sense of the stakes in making decisions about what to pursue.
