Well, we have actually a year ago were working with the city saying, this is one of, the Alliance for Historic Preservation has this program called Six to Save, where it takes six places that it feels threatened, that it knows has historic, values that should be preserved and advocates for it.

This in 2025 was one of the six to save buildings for the alliance.

So the city knew that we were already advocating for it.

What's also interesting about this building, this building was already on the Florida Master Site file.

There are three entries for this building.

In 1977, the first surveyor took a look at the building and said, this building is absolutely valuable, worth saving.
