But I think the Giants might be well-suited to trading for a guy who might project as a number four, number five, or projects as a reliever, and just saying, we believe in this arm, we believe in this stuff, Let's find a place for him on this roster.

Yeah, I mean, it really goes back to what you just said about how well are you scouting your own talent.

If they believe that Barracuda can replace the production of Ramos, and I'm not 100% certain about that, but that gives them an opportunity.

You know, and as much as I mean, Casey Schmidt is a guy you could possibly use for that purpose, too.

I mean, he has certainly been a godsend to this team.

He plays everywhere.

He fills in wherever he's needed, and he's had a real breakout season.

Joe Whitman and Matt Tugboat Wilkinson, do they get looks in August and September? Can the Giants afford to give them looks, and will either of them pitch

And I know that Chapman's productive and he plays a great third base, but his timeline does not align with the Giants' timeline, in my opinion.

I mean, I will say, um- Yeah.

Well, although it certainly seemed like they all, every, they had very little faith in, in Casey Schmidt.

I mean, what they did ended up being very, very positive for this team because Arraez and Schmidt are probably the two best offensive players they've had all year, and knowing that they could fit Schmidt in around the edges of the lineup somewhere, and that people always get hurt, the, it, it did effectively lengthen their lineup having that extra bat in there.

So, you know, whether it was a, it was truly a lack of faith in, in Casey or in fact faith in him because they knew he could fit in the lineup somewhere, uh, I do think, you know, getting more bats than they quote unquote needed, uh, has turned out to be in their favor.
