But you just have to sit back, Roger, sometimes and take a moment and say, wow, the impact this continues to have.

Yeah, well, it's, you know, we started the tournament in 1984, and that was our first year, and, you know, Dad was there for the very first one, and he was not around for the second one just because he wasn't feeling good, and then the third one, he wasn't with us at all because he had passed away, and, you know, in 1990, we broke ground on the cancer center, so, you know, at the time, he didn't even know he was going to have a cancer center.

It was just, we're going to start a golf tournament up here to raise some money for some good causes, and Then one thing led to another.

And then next thing you know, we have the Roger Maris Cancer Center.

And, you know, here we are now teeing it off for the 42nd time.

And it's just hard to believe we've been doing this now for 42 years.

You know, when it started, you know, I was young and no kids.

To keep your father's name alive and to combine it with this good cause, it's got to be something your family really, really cherishes around here, right?

Describe the satisfaction and pride, I guess, that your family has in this.

Well, you know, it's crazy to think that we're doing this now for the 42nd time.

I mean, you know, to know we're going to tee off for our 42nd time just really blows me away to think that we've been doing this that long.

And you know, when you think back to when we teed off the first time, we didn't know where the hell we were going or what we're really going to do.

And to think that we've been doing this now for 42 years and we have a whole Roger Maris all-star week.

On top of that, we have 24 total events that we're doing this week.

We're doing 18 sports clinics, six community events, and we got everybody involved.

I mean, everywhere.
