Yeah, I mean, when we think about how important sleep is to overall health, and how our brains work, it really makes sense that we see that link come into play when we're looking at how students do in their academic performance.

Robyn StremlerGUEST
So we know if you get good quality sleep and consistently across time, it really helps your brain work better.

Robyn StremlerGUEST
So if you miss out on sleep, it's harder to pay attention, harder to stay on task, And we know that some phases of sleep are also really important for consolidating the learning that you did take in during the day, especially REM sleep, that rapid eye movement sleep, dreaming sleep helps us consolidate anything that we picked up along the way.

Robyn StremlerGUEST
So if you're not getting enough sleep, not good quality sleep, we're gonna see the effects come into play in academics.

Rob FaiHOST
But with phones and everything, do you notice that that's a big pressure point as well?
