Too many chefs spoil the soup.

Well, I mean, that's the, the, the nature of our democracy, though.

I mean, it, it's not necessarily about all of these chefs throwing their ingredients into the pot and then you get a sort of mishmash of something that I would make in the kitchen, but that's a separate story.

Um, you really ha- you wanna have, um, what's happening subject to scrutiny, debate, discussion, especially because, let's face it, I mean, Canadians overwhelmingly support what Ottawa is, is doing right now.

They support Carney walking away from discussions with the US, fine.

Um, but I think, you know, he's sort of telling us we have to take his word for it, which, fine, maybe, uh, that's something that we could have accepted weeks or months ago, but there was that little incident with the Gordie Howe Bridge where, uh, the prime minister initially told the public that, okay, well, we hammered out a deal with the Gordie Howe Bridge with the US and they're not gonna have any part in revenues until Canada's debt for, for paying and constructing the bridge is paid back.

And then we found out later that, well, no, actually, that isn't the new deal that was hammered out with the US.

Um, he, he's, he's kind of arrogant [laughs] and, uh, you know, "I'll handle it, don't ask me questions."
