so John Wycliffe was born 1324, so 700 years ago.

He was a Yorkshireman, but ended up as a professor at Oxford.

And he just came to believe that everyday people needed to have the Bible in their language.

He didn't need the Bible In his language, you know, some could have said because he understood Latin, he could preach from Latin, he could read the Latin Vulgate as it was, you know, which itself was a Bible translation from the Greek.

So he set about this task and he had other people to help him, but he really led on this.

Now, he ended up having to leave Oxford because people objected to this when he died in the 1380s.

And so the moment you get... an organization that sort of see, oh, well, there's a bit of extra money to be made here, then decisions start getting made that affect real humans, don't they?

Yeah, football existed long before FIFA.
