What are your thoughts there, my friend?
9:57
Yeah, you know, I'm actually going to take that in a bit of a weird direction, but I promise I'll bring it back.
10:03
You know, as a mother, I'm a mother of two boys.
10:06
And I think that one of the things that was really successful for me with them is that when I made a mistake, I would just tell them.
10:15
You know, so I would sit down if maybe maybe I raised my voice when I shouldn't have or, you know, for whatever reason, I as a mother made a mistake with that kid.
10:24
Then I would talk to that that my kid about it.
10:27
I would say to him, you know, mommy wasn't in her best.
14:33
Bill on that, but now discussing the connection between, you know, personal wellness and professional performance, because, you know, I like the argument that most successful leaders can get the most out of their team if they invest in sort of their emotional wellness outside of work, and that's how can we work together to lighten the load here at work so you can put more deposits in what I call the family bank account? How can we reimagine your role here at work so that you're more invigorated and giving your best? So how do you think we can connect the dots between personal wellness but also professional performance? What are your thoughts there, my friend?
1:34
So from your experience working with high performers, what do you notice about them when they're under pressure? What do you notice about their bodies?
1:44
Yeah, you know, honestly, most high performers work quite well under pressure from the surface level.
1:52
So what we see is people doing an amazing job and really seemingly thriving in that environment.
2:01
What we don't see, especially with high performers, because they are good at, you know, masking it, hiding it, and keeping it away from everybody else so that they can get the job done kind of thing, is that oftentimes they have...
2:16
some things that are breaking down or falling apart on the outsides.
2:19
So it could be something as simple as very rarely getting a good night's sleep.
2:24
It could be something like as soon as they get home, they sort of like dive into gorging into food.

Why do you think that happens, Robin? Why do you think we don't see it coming? You did
