auditioned and you had to go up and you could read something or you could just the headmistress stood at the back of the gym hall and you had to project she was quite a sort of effervescent lady kind of you know project children like that and we're like 10 and everyone was reading from like spot the dog or like uh like biff chip and kipper and things like that or like a roll dial thing and i went up this tells you more about me I went up primary seven with a copy of Adrian Mole wow Secret Diary of Adrian Mole and I read a bit where he's like infatuated with in the thing he's infatuated by this other character called Pandora Braithwaite right and I went up and I affected like a little a little um accent like a kind of it wasn't full Aspie de la Zouche Leicestershire it was just an English posh accent because I didn't know about sort of colloquial accents at age 10 so I went up and I went um and the bit is where he's he says um it's about Pandora finally replying to him or something and the line was um And Pandora responded to me reluctantly.

And I remember being so chuffed that I'd used the word reluctant.

I'm like, I'm 10.

I've said, Pandora replied to me, left a wee pause, reluctantly up to the back of the room.

And Mrs. Summers, the headmistress, shout out Mrs. Summers, she went, okay, Robin, off you go back to your class.

And I was like, I've nailed this.
