Can we go straight into a story? I would like you to tell me about the scariest thing that you've ever experienced as a fast jet pilot.

The one that was most scary is when I was flying in Scotland on night vision goggles.

And I was in formation with my friend MSJ.

He was doing an approach into Lossiemouth and he couldn't see the runway.

We were trying to recover visually with night vision goggles on, of course, but it's pretty dark and pretty wet out there.

And he went, oh, this is not working.

I'm going to pull up into cloud and we'll shoot off and do a radar approach.
