15:51
Yeah.
15:52
So my first phone call came around four in the afternoon.
15:59
That first night we were probably planning with the province till about 3 AM, um, trying to assist with communities that were being like immediately, uh, like life or limb evacuation, it's happening right now or they're already on route.
16:13
When that was going on, I would say within less than 24 hours, we were getting community businesses were reaching out, asking how they could assist, how they could help.
16:29
I tell the guys internally at work, it was really heartwarming to see Thunder Bay.
16:33
We don't always get the best response.
16:36
PR.
18:10
So, um, is there anything about emergency preparedness that you wish more people understood?
1:33
So for listeners who may not know you, can you tell us a little bit about your role with Thunder Bay Fire Rescue?
1:40
Sure.
1:41
So as you said in the title, my title, or a- at the opening, my title is Division Chief of Administration and Community Emergency Management Coordinator.
1:49
So you could think of my job as two jobs.
1:51
I'm responsible for the running or assistance in running all of the halls and the training center for Thunder Bay Fire Rescue, taking care of things like personal protective equipment, helmets, mitts, glo- gloves, uh, bunker gear for the firefighters.
6:23
Yeah.
6:23
Uh, that's our emergency response plan and our emergency response strategy.
6:27
And our emergency response plan is, it's something that's, it's a document that's obligated to, under legislation, to the province, that basically outlines how we are going to do things.
