19 days out, what are Ohioans actually telling you? What's the mood out there, and does it match what the national press says the mood is?

Well, I think Ohio voters, you know, kinda are talking about a couple things.

The first is if, you know, when I knock on somebody's door, I tell them, "Look, uh, I'm Robert Sprague.

I'm a Republican.

I'm running for secretary of state, and I wanna make sure that we have photo ID for every ballot that's cast in our state." And inevitably, the person on the other end of the door, you know, whether it's a moderate or an independent, uh, or a Republican or even a soft Democrat, they say, "Yeah, I agree with you.

We need to..." I mean, if you have to show a photo ID to buy a beer in the state of Ohio, you certainly should have to s- show a photo ID to vote, and not because it's anti-voter and it's not discriminatory.

It simply is we wanna make sure that people are who they say they are.
