But like the algorithmic, the platforms have engineered people in such a way, and engineered the content makers in such a way- Mm ... to kind of bend, uh, their users round to maximizing them in terms of profitability.

And I think what that means is, is they've, uh, absolutely sabotaged people's ability to focus, you know? My friend makes content for the internet.

He's a podcaster and does all the videos for YouTube and does that stuff.
