H- how did you go about going into these archives, and what, what did you find? I know it's a very broad question, but I think it m- might be a good starting point before we go into some of the more specific examples.
17:44
Sure.
17:45
Um, I was actually invited.
17:46
[laughs] Um, I was one of the first ones, uh, invited.
17:51
The, uh, I think, uh, it was, uh, the Swedish sociologist living in Paris, Elisabeth Crawford, who, uh, with the historian of science, Roy MacLeod, who were asked, uh, if I'm not mistaken, in, in the '70s to review the materials, you know, the, you know, the types of materials in the archives and write a report about, uh- uh, what they can be used for and, and, and so forth and so on.
18:24
And then I believe there was a plan to have a, uh, they call a Nobel symposium, which is where you think on a historical topic, it was gonna be, I think, uh, science, technology, and medicine at the time of, uh, Alfred Nobel.
18:41
And, um, and they wanted a session on using the, the archives.
