Was it currently still being used, even though we haven't had strikes in a while with these bigger bombers? So were they targeting stuff that we still had on the ground? What do you know, Colonel?
10:39
I can't confirm or deny whether we were still using it operationally, but my guess is the support equipment at a minimum is still there because we still have ongoing operations.
10:49
But I'm not sure about the presence of B-52s, B-1s, or tanker aircraft.
10:54
But we do have a combat support wing that is the parent U.S. Air Force wing there.
11:01
They run the security forces operation.
11:03
And it's my understanding they had increased their force protection condition to Delta, which means a terrorist attack is imminent well before these individuals were reported and caught.
11:13
That tells me that the security forces intelligence part of the unit was operating very effectively.
14:47
Could that have been something, and that's how we were tracking them, or how do you think we were, again, I know you can't say too much, Colonel.
9:22
How did we take them out? Who are we using?
9:24
Yeah, Dan, we've got three carrier battle groups plus some Army aviation, which flies Apache helicopters in addition to, you know, the Black Hawk and those kind of helicopters.
9:36
And then the Navy's helicopter force has Seahawks on all of those battle groups.
9:41
Plus we've got the Tripoli and the Boxer, the U.S. Marine Expeditionary Units, two of them there.
9:46
One, the Boxer is focused on amphibious assault, primarily on the surface, and the EEE focuses on airlift and air assault using the CB-22 Osprey helicopters and F-35s for air support.
10:02
But what did we do today? The Admiral, I think, announced for the first time publicly that Apache helicopters And Seahawk helicopters killed those six speed boats, really fishing boats that we would see out here on the lake, to be honest with you, with a gun mount on them.
10:21
So that's the first time I believe that he's acknowledged that Apache helicopters and Seahawk helicopters are fighting those type of assets.
11:54
In your assessment, as a combat veteran, knowing what we have, what they have, how long this conflict's been going, is Iran winning this conflict? Are we losing it, Colonel?
44:07
What do you hear? Can you get this one done and soon?
44:10
Well, those of us that support the president's policies know that Putin is still in the driver's seat.
44:16
He continues to take territory in the Donbass region, Dan.
44:21
And even if it's an inch a day, that's something that Ukraine just cannot stop.
44:26
And they're never going to have the manpower required or the capabilities to go with that manpower required in order to do that.
44:34
And Putin's going to continue to hammer him until he finally concedes that the Donbass region has voted to become Russian ethnic independent areas and voted to join the Russian Federation.
44:48
Why did that happen, Dan? It happened because the Ukrainian government forces were attacking civilians in the Russian ethnic areas of the Donbass.
46:38
That doesn't sound like you're 100% sure this is going to happen soon, because otherwise you just said you'd put a grand or 10 grand on it.
