Every guest who joins me has a unique story of life experiences and decisions that lead them to this point in their career, and I'd love for you to briefly share with us what led you to originally found an audiology clinic, and then develop [laughs] into a passionate advocate for both hearing health and Alzheimer's prevention.

Wow, that's, um, a big question.

I'll try to abbreviate it.

My career after medical school was in business, and I helped, um, medical device and pharmaceutical companies get FDA approval on their, uh, products, and launch those products in, in Europe or in the United States.

And one of my clients happened to be a German company that had invented a device that German audiologists use to fine-tune the performance of h- of hearing aids.

And my first job w- uh, for them was to investigate the market and see where, where the opportunities lie.
