So do you feel like there are people that you're able to convince on these campuses as you're having these conversations and these debates?

Robert Joseph ReedGUEST
yes it is amazing what just confronting people's ideas head-on and not getting caught up in uh the like narrative spinning can do especially when people are especially when you're in an environment like here thomas where i feel like we can trust each other on a basic level um one of the best conversations i ever had with someone was with someone who leans more socialistically and the one question that just kept destroying the argument was how do we know how much to make If the state controls the means of production, how does the state know how much to make? Oh, well, we ask people, okay, do people necessarily know what they need right now? Like do, am I gonna know right now what I'm gonna need a month from now at the supermarket? Not necessarily.

Robert Joseph ReedGUEST
In a socialist system, the government produces as much as it decides it needs and then oftentimes falls short on some things and then has surpluses of others.

What else are you guys doing on campus to encourage more people to think freely and about free markets?
