... and, and, and it never gets old, you know? Oh, no hurry to get it out, you know, who cares? And so whereas it, whereas you start to, start to work on managerial problems where there's really applied interest in it, there is a lot of pressure to get it out.

Robert J. MeyerGUEST
On the one hand, um, uh, it's exciting because you feel, well, you know, now I'm actually working on something that people really care about, okay? And I, I talk to my friends about my work and so forth, and they're all, they're, they're excited about it.

Robert J. MeyerGUEST
That's very cool, but also it puts a lot of pressure, um, uh, to get it out very quickly, particularly 'cause you have a, a, you know, as we know, a review process where reviewers, their job is to basically say, "Well, wait a minute, hold on here," you know, "Don't go going out with stuff which isn't really solid and you haven't really backed up." So the reviewers are kind of p- holding you back a little bit, while mentally you're kind of wanting to get it out there very quickly.

Robert J. MeyerGUEST
And I think in this case it was a healthy mix, where I think the reviewers kind of helped us get better, but at the same time, you know, we were able to get out in a reasonably timely manner so that it still, you know, still was quite relevant when it hit.
