So if it's okay with you, why don't we start at the beginning, like when you first started writing?

Robert EibachGUEST
Yeah, I mean, I think like most artists and songwriters and performers and producers, you know, I started doing music with friends, you know, in high school and had a band, had, you know, did all the things.

Robert EibachGUEST
And I started thinking like, oh, you know, maybe how do I record this stuff? So I bought a four track recorder and, you know, started kind of just playing around you know just doing those kinds of things and i didn't ever think of it as a career you know at that time it was just more for fun and you know every i think every young uh person has those aspirations like oh well maybe i can be a rock star but um But I didn't really think that that was going to be my journey.

And, and so I'm wondering if you could, could touch on that, 'cause you've talked about public facing issues with celebrities when they're trying to, to just kind of go to McDonald's, eat a Big Mac, and, and live a normal life, and I think a lot of that is the machine behind them.

Robert EibachGUEST
Especially with how easily accessible everyone seems to be with social media, right? We can go to...

Robert EibachGUEST
We could pull up, you know, Ariana Grande or, or John Legend or any of... any artist that, that we like, like right now, you know, if you wanted to pull them up, and you could s- you could send a message to them or like, you know, feel like you're having that, that interaction with, with the artist.

Robert EibachGUEST
And, and it's n- it's kind of, in a way, you know, superficial because w- there's no real depth to, to that because it's just very easy, very, y- you know, here we go, here we are.

Robert EibachGUEST
And then I think that sort of translates into the public imagery of people in a sense where, yes, they're, they're, they're presented a certain way and they have a certain marketing image for what they're doing at that particular time, um, and their team and their publicist and their lawyers and everyone kind of comes up with what that's supposed to be.

Robert EibachGUEST
But the fact is that when, when a celebrity's out in public, I think there's the, a disconnect with how it's...

Sean AdlerHOST
I'm wondering if you'd be willing to, to touch on, on your journey as a producer and anything in between from transferring to, from biochemistry to being a music major to joining the Recording Academy.
