Sure.

It's so tangible.

So i- it's that, and then as I did more, I think I really saw within the ballet world how narrow the work that was being created was and that very few people had the opportunity to create at a high level where there are resources, and I wanted to open that up to more people.

And I think for me, always been more that when you look at art history, the times when extraordinary works of art were created were when there were lots of really fantastic artists working at the same time and in dialogue with each other.

You know, like the Renaissance is almost too plain of an example, but there are so many of those moments in history.

And I felt like when I first started out as a ballet choreographer, there were just very few people in it getting opportunities, and the sort of pipeline to get you there was so tight.

You know, you had to go through a professional ballet school, and even, you know, I went to The National Ballet School for 10 years and there were people who said to me, "If you don't dance with a major international ballet company, you'll never choreograph for one." And I was like, "Okay, well, my back's busted.
