You're the president of the Saints Athletic Association?
6:34
Yep, so the Saints Student Athletic Association, we run all of the varsity and intramural sports on campus for students.
6:40
We're a non-profit organization, and what's cool about the Rad Show is that all of the money that we raise through the $5 admission fee and then the vendor fee, um, it all goes to the SSA.
6:51
So we're able to use that money to then enhance the student experience for St. Clair College students in the realm of athletics and recreation.
11:44
Oh.
11:44
So I always tell people on my show, it's about 60/40.
11:48
Um, you know, about s- about 60% of the show is Pokemon, about 40% is, is sports.
11:53
I'm mainly a sports guy.

And this hobby, I guess, for a lot of people, it can be very lucrative, can't it?
0:22
Yes, most certainly.
0:23
I'm looking forward to putting on a great show for everyone on April 18th at the Sportsplex.
0:28
But there's actually something else going on at the Sportsplex that's even better.
0:32
This Saturday, the St. Clair Saints men's basketball team is taking on the Seneca Sting in the OCA quarterfinal.
0:38
It's happening at 4 p.m.
0:40
If you love basketball, tickets are only $5 at the door, $12 and under free.

If people have not been to the Sportsplex yet for a game, this is a lot of, it's a great atmosphere, isn't it, Robbie? It's a lot of fun to see a game there.
0:48
Can you tell us about the craze on sports cards or game cards?
0:54
Yeah, so pretty much since COVID, when everyone was stuck in their household and they needed something to pass the time, they started buying up boxes of Pokemon and sports cards just to break.
1:04
And ever since that kind of crazed, the trajection of the sport card and Pokemon community has just continued to rise.

Robbie, tell everyone about just, you know, how important a show like this is, not just from a car perspective, but from just the hobby in general and how close and, you know, the friendships are and the, you know, kind of, you know, building, you know, relationships that happen at events like this.
1:56
Yeah, most definitely.
1:57
I mean, the show is awesome because of the products and the different stuff that you're able to buy, but the community aspect and just people spending their Sunday with people they know throughout the community, and you get to meet a lot of new collectors and vendors at these shows, so it really brings the community all into one space, and it's really cool to see all the interactions.
