so do you usually choreograph with or without stars
18:32
i am like a stickler when it comes to preparation before the artist ever enters the room because i love the artist to enter the room and it already basically be done so like i would have like like she might stand in one day for tate and so she's tate and she's you know has a mic and is pretending to be tate i create the whole piece and then tate comes in tate watches the piece watches her And then from there we might make like minor tweaks and changes.
18:58
But for me, I think it's like an artist like is going job to job, interview to interview.
19:03
So it's like, it takes me a minute to create a piece.
19:06
They couldn't be there the whole time.
19:08
Or I would feel that pressure of like, wow, they only have three hours today.
19:12
We gotta get this done.

23 MINS LATER

42:11
It's never what you imagine.
8:53
What inspired that creation?
8:56
Yeah, we we really loved kind of this villainous Medusa character for Tate, this scorned woman kind of, you know, touching on the media, perceiving her a certain way and that turning her kind of into this like sensual villain character.
9:13
So from there, I was like, I mean, it seems pretty obvious, you know, like sand and snakes.
9:20
Yeah, so obvious.
9:22
It's Medusa.
9:23
I'm like, what's hotter than a sand pit and some girls dancing like snakes? But that is what kind of sparked the entire movement of our snake section and our snake pit choreo was just The idea that they were almost like her sister snakes off her shoulder.
9:39
And we incorporated all of the boys as like statues that she was freezing.
10:50
Now I'm gonna ask the question, I think on behalf of my business of dance mentees who aspire to work with you and dance with with Tate, what do you look for in a dancer? What is the secret sauce?
