What's that thing that, that doesn't resolve?

Yeah.

That-- a powerful question, and again, poke holes in this or push me a bit because my, my reaction is, I think I'm pretty consistent on it, but it might not be clear, is I doubt, um...

And this, this does kinda stick it to my own tradition, if you will, but I doubt any theology that claims any perspective, you could call it philosophy, whatever, that, that claims certainty on this thing that we often call God.

Like, I, I, I shy away from people who have the answer.

Um, my friend Barry Taylor, um, he's, he quote, he's quoted as saying this, uh, that God, meaning the word, right? "God is the name that we call the blanket we throw over the unknown to give it shape." God is the name we give to the blanket we throw over the unknown to give it shape.

Meaning even our theologies and our philosophies about the otherness that I don't think it su-supersedes our understanding.

How did you get to that? Where did that come from?

Yeah, well, I mean, I went to my it's so not a traditional journey.

I mean, I didn't grow up in the church, grew up in a single parent family.

Music was kind of my thing.

And so I went looking for colleges right at that point.

And that's that's not to say I didn't go to the occasional Bible camp or things tangential, if you will, to church.

But it just wasn't my world.
