[laughs] It's not gonna be next week.
25:09
Yeah, it does seem possible.
25:10
I think when we all saw the injury and then we heard him going to a specialist, and you're thinking, "Oh, surgery, that can't be good," and we're so close to the end of the season.
25:19
He would have to ramp back up and get ready for a potential stretch run here at the end of the season.
25:25
Uh, but it does seem like it's a possibility.
25:27
I, I don't know what I would put the percentage at necessarily, but it's clearly not zero.
25:31
The, the Blue Jays do feel that there is a runway for him to, uh, get back, and kind of similar to what we saw a year ago, where the Blue Jays needed him at the end of the season to, uh, hold down the AL East title, and then, uh, of course, what he did in the postseason.

33:41
Which of these teams most scares you for the Blue Jays as, you know, one that is maybe got a chance to get hot and, uh, change the way this wild card race currently looks?
102:35
Um, thoughts on, first of all, how difficult it was for the Jays to actually pull the trigger on a Gausman deal, um, and what came back in return?
102:45
Well, to be honest, I think just where they were in the standings and how the season had gone, uh, I'm not sure it was that difficult.
102:51
Uh, I think they had made the decision that they were gonna move on, um, from Kevin Gausman.
102:55
Uh, most likely not, uh, planning on penning him an extension.
102:59
He did say, uh, a few days ago that there were no conversations with the Blue Jays about, uh, a potential contract extension.
103:05
So that kinda gave him a sign I would imagine, uh, where the team was feeling.
103:09
As far as the, the person and the human being, I'm sure that was, uh, difficult just having to, to move on from him knowing how much he, uh, meant to, uh, the club off the field and how much he meant to the team, uh, in the clubhouse.
105:44
Thoughts on, uh, the move from Hoffman, and what came back from the Twins in, uh, you know, a package of prospects that actually for most people I've read seem to be somewhat exciting?
11:36
[laughs]
11:36
Yeah, I think really that's the big, the constant all season long has been the offense and just the struggles.
11:42
Uh, for whatever reason, uh, they've shown flashes, they've shown moments, they've had some games where it looks like they're turning a corner and maybe it's a two or three game sample where it's like, "Okay, this is the offense that we all saw last year in 2025, where they make a ton of contact, they don't strike out, but they're also getting extra base hits and they're driving that guy in with, uh, you know, a r- runner at third base with less than two outs.
12:06
And so far, I mean, you could even just go back to last night's game, I forget what inning it was, they had runners at second and third.
12:12
Dalton Barshaw comes up and it's a sack fly, it's a ground out, and then I think it was a, a strike out to end the inning.
12:19
And you get one run despite starting that inning with runners at second and third, and that's sort of just been what it's like, uh, to watch this team this year for whatever reason.
12:28
There's obviously guys that are underperforming, whether it's Vladi, whether it's George Springer, uh, Dalton Barger, Dalton Barshaw to a certain extent.

8 MINS LATER

20:29
What are you looking forward to at the moment with this team that could get us to that next level? Because there's a lot of good things coming I think.
11:36
[laughs]
11:37
Yeah, I think really that's the big, the constant all season long has been the offense and just the struggles, uh, for whatever reason.
11:44

12:20
And you get one run, despite starting that inning with runners at second and third, and that's sort of just been what it's like, uh, to watch this team this year for whatever reason.
