What subjects and what topics and what ideas and what themes will readers find explored within the pages of your book?
5:16
Well, this particular book, um, there are a lot of different directions I'm going.
5:21
Uh, I often go in direction of nature and life generally, but I find it, it is, it, it is a, a, an, an...
5:30
It binds me in a direction, and I don't want to go in a fixed direction.
5:36
I want freedom, and that is important to me.
5:40
Therefore, you find in the book a lot of different things, particularly in the fur- the end of the book, that I'm going a weird direction, strange, different directions.
5:51
Yeah? Not just love, not just people, nature and things that happen in there.
6:16
Or the dew on the grass, right?
2:45
Talk to us about how they shape your words, your thoughts, and your poems.
2:51
I, I have been living in the south of France for about 20 years.
2:56
I lost my wife, say, 10, 15 years ago.
2:59
Fine.
3:00
I have no problem with that.
3:02
Uh, but I'm living my own.
3:06
I do my own thing, and I'm, I am an artist.

7 MINS LATER

10:07
Yeah.
39:47
So that's what inspires you, right?
39:50
That's right, yeah.
39:52
I mean, apart from that, because I was living in France, I started reading stories about the French poetries.
40:03
And I said, well, that's very nice.
40:05
And I got the translation of that because my French over the years is getting better.
40:11
It's still not 100%.
40:12
And I was reading that and I said, this does not work.

6 MINS LATER

46:23
If you were to make a list of your favorite places, what would you say? What's your favorite place in the world?
13:57
So that's what inspires you, right?
14:00
That's right, yeah.
14:02
I mean, apart from that, because I was living in France, I started reading stories about the French poetries.
14:12
Yeah, and I said, well, that's very nice.
14:15
And I got the translation of that because my French over the years is getting better.
14:21
It's still not 100%.
14:22
And I was reading that and I said, this does not work.

6 MINS LATER

20:31
If you were to make a list of your favorite places, what would you say? What's your favorite place in the
56:14
So that's what inspires you, right? Right.
56:17
That's right, yeah.
56:19
I mean, apart from that, because I was living in France, I started reading stories about the French poetries.
56:30
And I said, well, that's very nice.
56:31
And I got the translation of that because my French over the years is getting better.
56:38
It's still not 100%.
56:39
And I was reading that and I said, this does not work.
59:31
And so for you, because you're an artist and that's a different medium, what was it like when you started to write poems and you started to let that all flow?
42:34
And so for you, because you're an artist and that's a different medium, what was it like when you started to write poems and you started to let that all flow?
42:45
Yeah, that is not as a problem, but is an extension of my whole idea.
42:52
If I make a drawing or I'm painting, that is a complex system for my brain, for my body itself.
43:01
That's fine.
43:02
When I'm finished, yeah, that's finished at perfect, yeah? But there is more to it.
43:09
I want to write down on paper the story of why did I draw this? Why did I draw and paint and make a painting of the crooked trees which fell down? Yeah, it basically looks very well.
43:30
but I want to write a story about it.
45:53
If you were to make a list of your favorite places, what would you say? What's your favorite place in the world?
