And, Rob, are we progressing here as far as the pre-dig goes?

Yeah, well, on a day-to-day basis, we're still getting beats out of the ground.

The factories are running pretty good.

The one thing we're eyeing right now is this weather and trying to figure out the best time to start the permanent pile storage season.

But it's staying kind of warm out there.

So what does that mean to sugar beet farmers?

So right now, tentatively, the permanent pile start date was going to be November 3rd, but that is based off of the weather, and we're constantly monitoring the weather and looking at it.

So I would say at this point, all we can do is look at the weather and hope it starts to get cooler.

morning well rob uh mother nature just isn't really giving us much moisture these days uh what's it doing to our sugar beet crop right now

uh i'd like to ask mother nature that question as well because it's not just moisture it's temperature it's all it's all across but um you know the beets are still doing well growing a little bit with a little bit of moisture they got it's um It seems like some areas get a little bit of precipitation, other areas not so much, but I will say I do like these cooler temps, but looking at You know, a 10-day forecast, it's going to warm up again, and I wish Mother Nature would make up its mind.

Let's go one way or the other.

Where, where are we right now?

Um, right now, as I mentioned, as we're trying to pull some impacted fields out, um, I'm trying to think of the average.

I think we're in the mid twenties for tonnage right now.

And the sugars is somewhere around 14.

But as I mentioned, we're trying to get some of those impacted fields out.
