At what point in your journey did you actually formally become an exercise

psychologist? Yeah, so my background, it might be a good point to kind of go back and sort of talk about where we started.

So obviously grew up playing all these different sports, had a really good enjoyment level and understanding of what I wanted to do.

I always wanted to get into physiotherapy at university, didn't get the marks to make physiotherapy.

The next best was exercise science, which back then very many years ago was called human movement studies.

So I did that at UTS and I graduated in like 2004 or something like that.

Can you give our listeners a little bit of an intro as to yourself, your background and what you're doing now?

So my background is in exercise science or exercise physiology.

So that's a very fancy way of saying we use exercise as prescriptive medicine for clients, typically with health conditions or some sort of a medical ailment.

When I graduated from school, I thought I'd play rugby for Australia, but most people do.
