So talk about this, this communicated expectations and the addendum.

Yeah, so we, we, we say, uh, we, we want you to serve at least four years at River Valley.

Give us four years of faithful service, and we'll send you off to wherever God has you next.

Like, we're gonna celebrate you, and it could be we just celebrate you because you're going to another position that's full pay and, you know, there was no sacrifice in it, just that was God's next thing for you.

It could be you're going to be a missionary, and then we're gonna get behind you financially.

It could be that you're gonna plant a church.

We're gonna get behind that financially.

Like, why does that matter? I'm, I'm trying to build the Kingdom of God, and, a- and I think there are a lot of people that are stuck in those tensions between, what are the things I want to do versus what are the things God's asking me to do.
