I do see this as well, the kind of rationalization.

And it's tricky, right? Because even that is worth unpacking.

Because I think this sense of like, I will finally be whole and complete when a woman sucks my cock every morning or whatever is like, often... seeking to compensate for something.

You know, it's like often like I don't feel whole in myself, so I'm seeking to compensate.

And like, so there's, I don't know, I have a congruent thought there, but that's just what popped up for me specifically when you mentioned

that word.

There's a couple directions that I can go in response.

One of them is, like, I think a lot of people can relate to this feeling that their sexuality is not integrated into who they are as a person.

That it's like, I'm me, I'm a community member, I'm a father, I'm a whatever.

And then there's like this other thing that I don't really know what to do with.

And so, uh, I thought that was a, know interesting stuff there to add

If you tell him that he shouldn't be that way, it's going to fuck him up and he's going to either resent

So obviously you have no idea what is sensible advice is.

There's got to be a huge difference between like attacking the essence of what a man is and saying that in itself, no matter what you do is toxic.

Like that's messed up.

Cause I mean, again, I told you, I work with a lot of young men and if I'm 16 years old and trying to figure my whole life out and the messaging I get is like the essence of me is no matter what, no matter if I'm a really good big brother to my sister, no matter if I'm doing the chores in my house and I'm trying to be the best person I can be, my essence is toxic because I am a man.
