uh worked for me for me yeah okay well maybe i was just technologically yeah you might have got the used version of that yeah probably so uh okay so is the county able to impose rules on e-bikes age requirements speed limits etc or is that more of a state thing so

yeah so first of all this is uh this is a long answer so i'll give you kind of a a down you know really down and dirty answer and what things are actually changing what we're doing different First of all, the way the current e-bike statute actually reads, it's under the bicycle laws.

So it's actually treated as a bicycle, meaning that everything a bicycle can do, an e-bike can do too as well, the way it's currently written under the Florida state law.

They stuck it in that bill years ago, who knows when, when they first started seeing e-bikes.

So that's the first problem, by the way.

And that's something we'll talk about here in a minute.

So I don't wanna go too far in the weeds on that, but everything that a bicycle law says, the e-bike says.
