So for you, what's the priority?
7:49
Yeah, I mean, it's still amazing how many people don't realise that football started in Sheffield and Sheffield are the first club.
7:55
That's Sheffield FC's CEO, Rob Hand.
7:58
There's probably as many people outside of the country know about Sheffield FC than in the country.
8:05
And even in Sheffield, which is really disappointed at some point.
8:08
But yeah, we get connections and contacts literally from all over the world.
8:14
I can be up at Dromfield just on a normal day.
8:18
you'll get somebody from Spain or Argentina turns up who's on a personal pilgrimage to see where football started you know so that side of it is literally unbelievable you know to think that this little non-league football club has a bigger message to the world in terms of us getting back into the city we would like to see it happen in the next two or three years but Myself, Jeremy, Shefford FC, we can't do that on our own.
6:08
That is Sheffield CEO Rob Hand.
6:11
No pressure on Bill, but we do keep reminding him that the ladies have done it, so it'd be nice for the guys to do it, you know.
6:54
So the men are glancing anxiously across, enviously across at the women who are showing them how it's done, really.
7:02
It starts at the top because everybody looks towards the first team.
7:06
But what our women's team does for women's football is amazing.
7:10
What Pete Donohoe and his team do for the Inclusive is unbelievable.
17:05
What about staff?
17:06
Have you got enough in there to...? The answer will be...
17:11
..what have you got? What's due out and what have we got here?
18:34
has a consequence
18:35
every penny is important down to how many programs we print how many pies we buy is the budget in a positive ever no not really
10:19
No, but that's non-league football.
10:24
What state's the club in right now? Yeah, just reflecting on relegation, from a personal point of view, not great, because you don't want that on your tenure, you know, that you've kind of suffered a relegation.
10:34
We came close to winning a lot of those games, lost them.
10:37
We were three-nil up in one and lost 4-3, you know, so myself and Will sat down, put a plan together and retained all five that we wanted to retain.
10:48
You know, we retained some key players – that were a key part of essentially what had gone wrong, but we knew we wanted them as the backbone, and essentially set out to build a new team with 15 new players.
13:55
Fixing problems, first in, last out.
13:58
The Daves and the Neils of this world, their match day starts at 10 o'clock in the morning.
14:03
And, you know, a match day doesn't happen without all those people.
