Rob FlackGUEST
We were near the front, uh, the kids, right? We sat there, and I'll never forget what Ronald Reagan said, and I've got the newspaper clipping still in my little scrapbook.

Rob FlackGUEST
I remember he had a great speech, but one of the, the, the main theme was, "If you believe government can do more for you than you can for yourself, that it can in- it should involve itself more in your life, tax you more, um, manage more of your everyday life," he said, "then I shouldn't be the President of the United States." He said, "But if you believe in smaller government, more efficient government, government that taxes you less, puts money back in your pocket 'cause you know how to spend it better, then I think I'd be a better President of the United States than my competition." And it stuck with me ever since.

Rob FlackGUEST
And, and so, you know, I stayed involved in politics my whole life, riding association politics.

Now, the Sewer and Water Main Construction Association estimates, as does AMO, Association of Municipalities of Ontario estimate that we need $200 to $250 billion of infrastructure spent on water and wastewater in the next 10 to 15 years, maybe closer to 20 in some cases, on not only new infrastructure, but replacing old infrastructure.

Rob FlackGUEST
We don't have the money, both from municipal, provincial and federal standpoint, to fund that infrastructure.
