So when you think about less than half of the patients that we identified had had their lipid panels done, and then among that cohort where we had follow-up lipids to look at, less than thirty percent is-- twenty-eight percent of them had any sort of lipid-lowering therapy intensification.

Rob Di DomenicoGUEST
So these are the patients that are highest risk, and less than a third of them were getting their lipid-lowering therapy intensified.

Rob Di DomenicoGUEST
Acknowledging that about a third of the patients that had follow-up lipids, their LDLs during follow-up were at goal.

Rob Di DomenicoGUEST
When you factor that in, it still means that nearly forty percent of our, our patients that we had identified did not have lipid-lowering therapy intensification despite being candidates for that intensification.

... making sure they're on the right meds and getting them off the, perhaps the things that may not be benefiting them.

Rob Di DomenicoGUEST
Um, so th-there, there are a couple different approaches generally speaking.

Rob Di DomenicoGUEST
There's some, uh, several folks in the cardiovascular community have, have touched on this, particularly as it relates to geriatric care, um, looking at the domain approach.

Rob Di DomenicoGUEST
And then there's been a couple of different frameworks that have been proposed, the four Ms, the five Ms, um, again, that are a little bit more focused towards geriatric care, but I think can be applied, uh, globally, um, to other adults as well as to, uh, children.

Rob Di DomenicoGUEST
Um, you know, care coordination, having a structured approach is certainly, um, one of the biggest things.

But if, if someone's inter-interested in, in doing this, what, what is their process for, for how to, to think about this?
