So then what did take us back to that moment or that day? What was the next step then? You're like, okay, now I have to actually find a way to get involved in the game? Or how did that look?

So it was very interesting.

Thereafter, I started to research all about battle.

I was like, wow, how can I be involved more? I remember speaking to my past partner, the guy that I used to coach with, and just saying to him, because he was back home in South Africa, and just said...

what is your knowledge of paddle and you know how can we get more involved in this game because this is phenomenal and at that time he was very much looking into it as well and he started a paddle club on the north coast and i thought wow well maybe when i go back to south africa i can find myself more involved rather than on the tennis court but more involved in the paddle scene and Anyway, so get back to South Africa and find myself back on a tennis court and starting back where, not exactly starting back where I left off.

Where I left off was full on tennis program, managing a whole area, managing coaches, all sorts of things.

Was it kind of like an academy? got back okay yeah we had an amazing academy uh setting and i was very much involved from the tennis court i don't think that was exactly what i was looking forward to coming back to um So got back on the tennis court just because, you know, it was time for us to get back rooted in South Africa, get on the court, make some money, reignite those relationships again.
