So what is the difference between healthy shame and toxic shame?
86:25
So healthy shame is what you need in order to survive in an organized way.
86:30
structured society.
86:31
So healthy shame is what prevents you from going out naked.
86:34
It is what stops you from, you know, giving gullies to people or going and beating up people.
86:40
Healthy shame is what allows you to follow the rules in a company, in an organization.
86:46
So healthy shame is needed where it can kind of prevent you from being like an animal.
90:43
So what should the parent do?
5:05
I'm very curious.
5:06
Peer isolation is when the child feels isolated.
5:09
There is nobody to talk to.
5:11
So in school, when the child is feeling alone, I do not belong to any social group.
5:16
Peer isolation is experienced amongst two types of kids.
5:19
One is kids who are very introverted or who are... who have a very low self-worth, like inferiority complex.
5:24
So they are always in themselves or the kids isolate that, oh, you are dumb, you are stupid, you are no good, you know.

that.

But my first question is ma'am childhood trauma होता क्या है and what counts as childhood trauma?
6:29
तो this is what it affects your sense of self। Self worth up you grow up in shame। दूसरा level it affects is it affects the way you see the world। Internally right how you see yourself, how you see the world around you and how you see your relationships।
8:32
And क्या is violence या abuse एक necessary condition for trauma या कोई trauma उसके बिना भी होते हैं?
8:41
In fact physical abuse Almost 90% of them emotional neglect and emotional abuse मतलब okay। ये चीज है मतलब ये है कि आप बच्चे को मारते पीटते नहीं हो but emotional abuse मतलब आप constantly बच्चे को feel कराते हो कि you are useless। You know these kind of things। It erodes that child's self worth। So emotional neglect and emotional abuse। So these kids with emotional neglect There is nobody for me। This is the beginning of loneliness in childhood।
12:59
So as a couple, if they have relationship issues, is it related to their individual childhood exposure?
13:08
100%.
13:09
What are couple issues that, you know, we are incompatible or, you know, he doesn't understand me or she doesn't understand me or I, you know, I like to talk and solve things.
13:19
He just screams and yells, right? or couple issues come from parenting styles which are different like I'm the good cop he's a bad cop or I'm the bad cop and my wife becomes a good cop and you know kids like her and kids hate me these are the typical or they have issues about you know family like your mother is saying this to me and your dad is like this and these kind of things now invariably when people come together they their past whatever they have gone through between their birth to the time they got married that doesn't get erased out you carry it with you right you carry it in your muscle memory cellular memory psycho behavior memory all sorts of memory you name it you know you call it subconscious mind you call it implicit memory explicit memory all of that And those become the triggers for your issues.
14:08
So for example, if I have grown up in a family where we talk very quietly, we don't scream, shout, you know, everything is like hush hush.
14:15
Now I marry in a family where suppose you have grown up listening to only everybody yelling.
14:21
It's very common.
