And it was kind of like, I felt like Luis Suarez went and I was his replacement.

So it was such a pressure.

It was such a hard feeling.

to fill even though I wasn't and Brendan was trying to tell people Ricky's not the replacement for Louie I was trying to I was supposed to add to it the fans were going to always see that because they had Louie who almost won the the the league and then he left and I came in with Mario and And then obviously the team, the tactical side took a knock because everything went through Louis.

So it was like, I was getting a twofold effect on me where tactically and physically, like football wise, I was just not good enough.

Do you think you've changed a lot as a person since retiring from football and giving yourself more time to think? Or presumably you weren't thinking these things while you were playing football in the same way?

you did you know that you ended up there so you did have the talent yeah but it was just about proving to everyone yeah

and maybe others would have took the advice from others and absorbed that it didn't work that didn't go that didn't work on me I don't know why It was just right on to the next thing.
