Right.

And giving kids freedom to feel their emotions rather than just squash them is kind of.

That's the way to raise a resilient adult, and that's what the name of the game is.

So, yeah, if every time they have those big feelings, and that's a big buzzword now, you know, those big feelings, but they're absolutely true.

Yeah.

as a parent, you see the kids having really enormous feelings and trying to navigate them into being able to name that feeling, being able to sit in it with them, which is the tricky part.

And for me, sometimes the tricky part is not getting into that same emotion with them.

You know what?

Awesome.

It w- it was awesome.

And I started doing solo stuff at schools, and really quickly, this is just, like, two months ago, then they asked me to do an assembly.

And I said, "Yeah, I'll, I'll write one." So I, I wrote, like, a 40-minute assembly that, that's kicked off the power words concept, which is what this, uh, this album coming out on August 22nd, and then a second one, volume two, comes out in March.

But yeah, that's where the, that's where the assembly came from, and the assembly thing is a thing I'm gonna start touring with.

Um, now, uh, touring is probably a big word, although I do have a, a place that I'm gonna do one in Maryland, in a couple months we'll do one in Wyoming, and it looks like in Vegas on the way, so I'm gonna drive a little bit.

But the- some random ones have popped up, and I'm saying, "Hey, okay, if we can bunch them together." Having kids of my own, if there was someone that went to their school and talked to them about perseverance and related it back to Mike the Mail Man who made it up to the top of the hill, that's kinda what I want in my kids' ears and in my kids' lives.

... slow moving over there, leave it for her, and it, like, every s- every single night.

He was a great, a great man.

And, um, he passed away not long after I graduated from high school.

He always wanted to see me graduate from high school, and he wanted to see the end of the baseball season that I was playing in.

And, uh, and I f- I feel like he held on just to kinda get himself wheeled up to the graduation, see me graduate, and that was one of the things that, um, that he was holding on for, and then he, he kinda I think, I, I think let go after that.

We were all standing around him when he, when he passed.

Mm, yeah, yeah.
