Is that right?

The word miracle describes something instantaneous.

The other word for healing, iaomai, is from the word iatros, which is the word for a doctor.

It means to doctor.

Or it's, it's w- when you're h- that word describes a healing like medication, that you progressively get well over a period of time.

Well, everybody has faith for that.

Yeah.

And you're ready for new opportunities.

And you know what? God was establishing relationships that were gonna carry us by faith into the next phase, and I learned you should never bypass the phase that you're in.

You may not even understand the phase that you're in, but it's essential for what you're gonna do next.

And a lot of people wanna bypass where they are.

It's, it's important you get everything you can out of it.

It's gonna get you ready for the next phase.

So when we went overseas, we had an office in Tulsa.

Mm-hmm.

Can you set the scene for us of what's going on here? And the strange kind of conclusion of this miracle, which is the demons come out, but they enter into this group of swine.

You know, you have written a new book called The Stones Cry Out.

And I just want to say to your friends, that book is fabulous.

But when you go to the country of the Gadarenes, that's another place where the stones are crying out.

And when you take a ship like Jesus did from the west side of the Sea of Galilee and you sail to the eastern side of the Sea of Galilee, you come to the ruins of an ancient village called Cursi.

Well, that is where the Gadarene lived, and he lived in the cliffs, in the caves, and there was an old graveyard there.

Well, today there are the ruins of a sixth century monastery that was built to commemorate this site, and it was the largest monastery ever built in the land of Israel, and the ruins are still there.

And why did Jesus choose to restore Lazarus? Why him in particular?

And I think my question is, when you said that there's these two tracks that you can go on, what is your advice for people who are saying, well, I want to be on the track for Christ? How does someone do that?

Number one, you need to be in a church that believes the Bible and preaches the Bible.

You know, my TV program on Daystar, it's a verse-by-verse, word-by-word teaching.

That has almost disappeared from the church.

I'm not the only one that does that.

There are many others, but not like there used to be.

Usually today when you go to church, you're going to get thematic preaching or you're going to get an inspirational message or a motivational message, and there's a place for that.

Is there something like that, maybe that specifically, that tells you that we're not just in a kind of last age, which is, by your own accounting, some 2,000 years old, but we're kind of at or near the last port?

We are.

We're really at the very, very end.

And you're right, the, the reestablishment of Israel in 1948 is one of the major indicators that we've come to the end of the age.

But you know, Dinesh, in Matthew 24:3, the disciples said to Jesus, "Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming?" And that word sign is the Greek word which describes a road sign.

Just like we have road signs today, they had road signs, and those road signs told you where you were and how much further you had to go.

Well, if you take that into the verse, they were literally saying, "Lord, what will be the signs we'll see on the prophetic road to tell us how close we are to the wrap-up of the age?" And the first thing that Jesus mentioned, most people just glide right over it and don't pay attention to it.

And essentially, the believing body of Christ will vanish from the face of the earth.

What about that?

Well, trust is based on knowledge.

You know, when Denise and I grew up, we didn't have a clue that God healed the sick.

We thought that God made people sick.

I mean, we weren't just taught badly.

We believed that God really was the source of all.

He was sovereign, so if it happened to us, it must be the will of God.

And

What are some other signs that we look for that cause us to know that we're near the rapture?

Well, a lot of people talk about Israel.

In my teachings, I don't talk about Israel because everybody else does.

Okay.

But when you come to Matthew 24, the disciples said, Lord, what are the signs to tell us we've come to the end of the age? And Jesus begins to enumerate 20 signs, but he begins with one, which is foremost.

He says, beware that no one deceive you.

And the word deceive is the Greek word planeo.

Well, the disciples asked for a sign, just one.

But Jesus gave them a whole list.

But he began with number one.

And he said, beware that no man deceive you.

And that word deceive in Greek is the word planeo.

It was a word which was really used by the rabbis in the intertestamental period between the Old and the New Testament.

This is an expansive topic we could go on for several shows, but kind of a brief condensed version, Rick, your view on why the pre-trib rapture is the reality.

Yeah.

And the Bible tells us that Judas Iscariot came into the Garden of Gethsemane with a band of men.

Yeah.

Well, everybody sees that word band, and because of the movies they've seen, they think it was two or three or maybe ten soldiers.

But it's the Greek word speeder, which describes, are you ready for this? 300 to 600 soldiers.

That many.

It was an army that came to arrest Jesus, which means Jesus' power was so legendary, they really thought it was going to take 300 to 600 soldiers to arrest one man.

Some really important things happened after Jesus rose from the dead, and you break that down a bit in the book as well.
