Is there a spot for all these bulls or seed stock producers having to cut back on the number they're producing? Is there a spot for them to all go?

Rick MachadoGUEST
you know that's that's a super good question and i asked that myself you know the last few years and and that being said these bulls continue to to find new homes and they continue to kind of follow this commercial market and and find new homes at a higher value so uh yeah we continue to absorb more of these bulls i don't know if it's that people are not running them as long because they want to turn the genetics because they're wanting to stay ahead of these genomic scores and so on.

Rick MachadoGUEST
I'm not sure that real reason, but I, you know, there's, there's a certain percentage of bulls that are added to some of these Western sales this fall, not big numbers, you know, kind of five and 10% on a few of these sales, but certainly there's, there's some new sales as well.

Rick MachadoGUEST
That being said, I think the, you know, the front end of these bull sales and the top, you know, 30 or 40% of these things will still be selling at probably record highs again this fall.

Rick MachadoGUEST
And that's where I encourage these ranchers and producers to really study, you know, study their study their catalogs, which I know most of them do anyways, and they find all the cattle that meet their needs from EPDs and dollar values and so on.
