know so so i went to university did electronic engineering degree which was incredibly boring and then I went off to America for a two-week holiday and ended up staying for a year and a half down in Miami.

I had a great time.

I came back to the UK as a graduate engineer and I got a job in the city of London working in like technical support Ken for things like financial trading systems with all the major banks and investment companies um and I wasn't very good at it to be honest I enjoyed the travel because I went I traveled Europe a lot traveled all around London all very new to me all very exciting but I wasn't very good and I and I applied for a job one day I thought you know let me try and get into a more commercial role um and I'd uh smiled and dialed my way through a few recruitment guys got a job long story short at the bottom of a business um selling kind of broadband test equipment this was probably in 2002 something like that so that was when the the the world of the internet was exploding let's say And I got a job in sales and I started off in telesales and I worked my way up that business and kind of ended up reporting into the CEO did very well in that corporate space.

But I was never really fulfilled.

Ken always wanted to do something on my own.

Um, And when I think the first kind of dot-com bust happened, you know, the CEO called me in.

I mean, what's that driving you to do that?
