So yeah, I'd love to start off a little bit, Rick, about who's the book for and what got you into writing a book about golf and all the, the themes around it.
1:10
When I, when I retired from the corporate world, there was something missing in my success that could be defined by things that I had.
1:19
And I took a job as a supervisor at one of the park district golf courses in Fort Wayne, and there I met dozens and dozens of retired people who had been playing golf there since the early '20s, and then on beyond that.
1:37
And then these stories started to come together for me in a very sweet kind of way.
1:42
It's not really about golf at all.
1:45
It's more about life and the things that the, the game of golf and the background of golf would teach you about living a better life and helping and mentoring people, like a caddie would.
1:57
A caddie would carry the weight.
2:53
Mm-hmm.
39:47
The Cicadas are so cool.
39:48
It's so good.
39:50
But, um, yeah, back to the, I started getting risky and throwing it in a bit tighter in the structure and stuff, and there was this one little, like, eddy-type gap.
40:02
And I tossed this Cicada in there, and soon as it hit the water, this thing come from nowhere and just stalked the lure.
40:11
And I'm like, "Shit, this is a cracking fish.
40:14
This thing is, like, 45 easy all day long."
44:33
... or say thank you to?
44:34
Uh, yeah, 100%.
