How were those parties you were talking about, Richard? The Thursday party, was that the good one?

Uh, Roadster Shop party's a big one.

Uh, uh, Sosa throws the best party, period, for SEMA.

And, uh, he had a jet boat.

His shop's very much like your building here.

the car left the shop at 12:30 Tuesday morning.

See, I don't get, I, I haven't gotten that, uh, far up the chain yet 'cause, uh, ours had to leave on Friday to get to Vegas in time.

Plus I'm also, you know, 1,800 miles from Vegas.

I didn't piss in your car on purpose.

Oh, okay.

Go ahead.

What were you saying? I was just saying we got it cleaned up.

We still got the car.

It sits around at either mine or Dennis' house.

The one you pissed in? Uh-huh.

But I didn't know that there was 18-year-old cops or 19-year-old cops.

Yeah

... uh, from time to time if we were busy, and then we'd have to get lean.

And then y- there were a couple, three times that we'd kinda disbanded, like locked up the doors, used it for storage.

And I went and did, you know, whatever to make money, and he went and did whatever to make money.

And, and, uh, you know, so when we finally got the call for the show, um, that it was done, they were ordering six episodes, I was running, uh, I was VP of sales for my wife's home healthcare company and building that, and it was doing unbelievable.

And we had a nice life and everything was good.

And, uh, Aaron was working somewhere at a four-wheel parts wholesaler or something, and I was like, "Man, I'm not doing it." I, I said, I, I told my wife, I said, "It's too little too late.

[laughs]

There's

two factors in it.

It costs $400,000 or $500,000 to get a car built now.

And there's also not enough craftsmen doing it.

There's not enough shops like mine or Chip's or Troy's or anybody's that can turn them out in any set of speed either.

We're in an international – we want, right now, satisfaction.

So, you know, you're better to pay $300,000 for something that's like – that is what you want.

Well, I'm
