I don't think it's a surprise to a lot of people listening and watching that I'm a Hartman Loathing supporter and the topic I've got is referee transparency.

So I was interested to talk about this because I think every club has got a paranoia about referees.

I think... maybe the list of referees will come out and then they'll be like oh I can't believe it's that guy and I think part of me thinks should referees be wearing morph suits maybe they wouldn't know who's refereeing them I was going to suggest Balaclavas but then Rangers fans wouldn't be in agreement with that so you know there's a lot of concern about specific referees a lot of paranoia about it I would probably counter it.

I haven't run this past you, Kieran, if I can say this or not, but I just don't think they're very good.

Really, across the board, I think there's a lot of stress for the referees and a lot of backlash.

Quite rightly, in some cases, I think you'll look at the booking situation in the Dundee game and the Dundee-Dundee United game and, you know, they're chasing their tail a lot of times, referees, and I don't think they're backed up by VAR.

If no one can afford anything, at some point something's got to break.
