I'm curious to understand your perspective on how the industry, after coming off a number of years of cost increases, starts to crest the wave and go back down and cut costs?

Okay.

So that, that's an interesting question.

Um, uh, so in, in further conversation with the minister, I think, yes, cost is, is clearly key, and we need to be really, uh, uh, cognisant as, as an industry how the appearance of our really big ticket numbers, um, how the perception is that, that, that has a, a play on bills for people on a day-to-day basis.

I think the reality is that, uh, that, that offshore wind and renewables in general is providing energy security, which is protecting against that cost, that, that, that consumer cost in the future, as well as attempting to deliver some protection from spikes that are happening now, and we, and we saw that through the Iran war.

But, but with regards to, to the minister's announcement around AR8, it was really a driver of, you know, we still need to be seen as being a, a, a, an industry that is delivering capacity at a cheaper price than fossil fuels.

Okay, so yes, there's a driver on price, but I don't genuinely think there was an expectation that it's just gonna suddenly magically become cheaper by making that statement.

How do you view that as a developer? How are you navigating that, and what are your concerns around the attitude of those on the right, essentially, towards renewables right now?
